Greensource Manufacturing provides a revolutionary concept in the PCB manufacturing vertical. They believe that through more efficient machines, smarter engineering, and state of the art manufacturing lines that American manufacturing can be simultaneously cleaner, greener and more cost competitive than Chinese imports.

Project Overview

Greensource is the country’s leading sustainable manufacturer of both PC boards and PC board fab lines. Image 4 shares a sustainability ethic, and we were drawn to Greensource by their values of environmental awareness and a strong competitive spirit.

Jim Brown of Greensource asked us to design his new 20×30 tradeshow exhibit to reflect sustainability and show off the re-shoring product line.  The sales process involved in-depth engineering discussions as well as equipment demonstrations, requiring a space that is open, and yet provides areas for long duration, immersive learning experiences.

Visitors are drawn into the exhibit by a series of illuminated tables featuring wireless device charging capabilities. While their phones charge, visiting engineers can speak to Greensource representatives, who can specify the exact Greensource solution that would fit the prospective customer’s needs. Supporting the personal interactions, four kiosk units hold a total of eight monitors where visitors can learn about Greensource’s PCB manufacturing capabilities through immersive, interactive videos. The curved overhead “ceilings” on the kiosks provide acoustical privacy between the monitors.

Overhead, a green, glowing sphere symbolic of Greensource’s environmental approach and global awareness ties the space together. The initial exhibit design has proved incredibly successful. Image 4 continues the relationship with Greensource, now supporting their international efforts and larger exhibit builds in Germany as well as a show schedule in the U.S.
